Microtech International Ltd. was established in 1990 with the purpose of running the business activity in the area of the application of modern electronic and information technologies in industry as well as research work. The core staff of the Company acquired their original experience at The Wroclaw University of Technology through extensive co-operation with industry. During these years of the Company's activity, the engineering staff have been selected by careful choice of the best graduates from the Faculty of Electronics. Well educated, young engineers have contributed to the successful implementation of unconventional, challenging and progressive projects. Microtech services covers the whole project life cycle, from concept, through detailed design, manufacture, delivery, on-site installation and commissioning together with project guarantee and long-term post-sale service.

Process Automation involves the application of industrial process measurement & control, data transmission, supervision, visual display and processing. Implementation of SCADA and DCS systems is based on intelligent measurement and control equipment. In the case of wide-spread industrial processes, all modern remote data transmission techniques are used. The process automation systems are often integrated with enterprise management systems.

Advanced Electronic Solutions cover dedicated electronic hardware and software design. The Company has gained broad experience in design and manufacture of professional equipment and systems for military applications, especially in the area of software and signal processing for Radar Warning Receivers. Products designed and manufactured at Microtech meet strong performance requirements typical of military applications. Reliability, resistance to harsh environmental conditions, outstanding processing power, automatic testing and fault diagnosis together with the application of advanced programming techniques are fundamental for these kinds of designs. Most advanced IP (Intellectual Property) Core technology is also offered for linking hardware, algorithms and versatile software within Field Programmable chips (FPGA). This results in fast, flexible and reliable electronic products for our customers.

Information System Integration refers to the concept of the so called "intelligent building". The optimisation of energy consumption, the preservation of perfect functionality and safety constantly challenges system integrators and providers of Building Management Systems. The most significant building systems include: computer networks and telephone installations, access control, intruder detection, fire alarm and CCTV systems. A special category of systems is formed by those designed for wall-screen presentations. This category encompasses complete audiovisual systems for displaying images, public address and broadcasting systems, video & audio conferencing systems and systems for simultaneous translation and voting. The audiovisual systems are integrated using special audiovisual controllers.

Microtech International Ltd. employs some 50 people. The Company has adopted a three-level organisational structure consisting of the Management, Departments and Teams.
The objective of the Company is to manufacture modern products of high functionality and reliability. Priority is given to the total satisfaction of our clients' needs and optimal use of appropriate technologies. Therefore we implement continuing training and certification programs. These programs are needed to accomplish work ordered by our clients. The most important area is our authorization for the design & installation of security systems, the ability to conduct work in mining and hazardous areas, to have access to classified information, thus allowing us integration of automation and specialist systems together.
